The House Becomes The Studio

tom-blog-picYo! Ok so my house is a studio lol - what do you do when your band has no money? When you need to record an album? You burst your bank account leave yourself with nothing and turn your house into a studio. So I hope this mini album does it for us or I'm broke! Well more broke!

Anyways I'm snowed under - I'm writing the new songs n trying to get the rest of my new songs finished, mixing the album songs, producing the album songs, doing the website, the artwork and I have a backlog of band videos to put up not to mention live stage visuals to finish - wooO! All fun though - I'm not complaining I'm doing what I love though it's tough doing it on yer own! I feel like I need to stop the world for 7 days catch up, then press the play button again haha

So anyways recording is going so well at the moment I'm really happy - and thanks to Ben at KONK studios I have learned so much that this album is really taking shape brilliantly.

Rock the boat folks - seriously get your tickets now and book that bus cos time is running out and this is gonna be an awesome gig.

I must dash cos I got shit loads to do - I promise I will try put up some videos from that last 4 weeks of various gigs, recording and other stuff - soon as I can get a minute!

T in The Park, Recording and Rock The Boat

Hi Folks,
Hope you all had a good weekend. Caught some of T in the Park on the telly, Muse, The Editors and Biffy Clyro were my faves, oh and of course Paolo.
Had a great recording session on Friday, got lots done and everything sounding great for the forthcoming mini-album ‘We Are Not Dirt’. Remember to send in your own cover designs as soon as possible so we can get the final cover ready for the album release.  We will keep you posted of our progress, there is tons of work going on behind the scenes to get the album ready.
Just quick reminder about Rock the Boat on 1st August. OSWALD NEEDS YOU, we need everyone possible to come along so we get a big crowd, there is sooo much resting on this gig for us, please, please, please, get yourselves along. All the details are on the site regarding tickets and transport, you have no excuse...

Recording

Hey folks how's it all going! We been recording our mini album over the last few weeks and we hit the final stages tonight and next week. It's all going really well and taking shape nicely - I've done loads of pre-production and I think we gonna end up with a brilliant body of work.
